Returns Policy

Customer Satisfaction
Customer satisfaction is very important to us, and we want to make your shopping experience as pleasant as possible. We stand behind our products 100% and we’re confident that the design, quality, and safety of our merchandise will meet your expectations. To assist you, we have set out our returns policy below.


Incorrect Products

We understand if you receive an incorrect product or goods. We are glad to refund your purchase or replace the goods subject to our returns policy. If you are having an issue with the product, please email us at Sales@livingtrendz.co.nz. You may return the products to our store (including online purchases) within 7 days from the date you receive the goods, in exchange for store credit or a refund. The product must be in the following conditions:

  • In its original and sealed packaging

  • Unopened

  • Undamaged

  • No stains, scratches, drilling, or modifications

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase


Change of Mind

Please choose your purchases carefully, as we do not provide refunds for change of mind. For furniture, we recommend checking dimensions to ensure they fit your space and doorways before completing your purchase. If you have concerns upon receiving your order, contact us promptly at Sales@livingtrendz.co.nz.


Proof of Purchase

You must provide reasonable proof of purchase and may need to show a valid photo ID for repairs, refunds, or exchanges. This includes:

  • Copy of tax invoice

  • Finance documentation (if purchased on a payment plan)

  • Proof of payment (receipt)


Faulty Goods or Damage in Transit

If you receive a faulty or damaged product, email Sales@livingtrendz.co.nz within 24 hours of delivery. Include:

  • Order/invoice number

  • Description of the fault

  • Photos of the damage

How to Return a Product

  1. Email Sales@livingtrendz.co.nz or call 0800 546 494.

  2. Provide proof of purchase and order number.

  3. Refunds will only be issued to the original purchaser.

Note: If inspection shows no breach of consumer guarantees, you may be charged inspection/return fees.


Online Order Cancellations

  • Orders are final once placed.

  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed to the original payment method.

  • Special orders (custom products) are non-refundable.


Exchanges

  • Lower-priced item: Refund/store credit for the difference.

  • Higher-priced item: Pay the difference.

  • Shipping fees: Non-refundable; new fees apply for exchanges.


Exclusions

No returns/exchanges unless faulty:

  • Consoles, games, electronics (phones/tablets/accessories)

  • Display/floor stock

  • Custom/special orders

  • Bedding (pillows, linen, mattress protectors)

  • Beds, mattresses, bedroom furniture

  • Delivery/installation fees
